Research Notes
Many critical statements in August from rammimages.com disclosing partial legal documentation received that reveals improperly worded legal threats and unclear communication of what was being asked or disputed for removal. Including complaints of blindsiding the site owner with legal papers without prior contact or simple requests via email that echoes rammsteinfan.de's situation.
Oh and if you read, you'll see an "example" was Keine Lust making of screenshots. But that was just ONE example. The wording clearly insinuates more than this was being disputed. And they also named every band member and it wasn't limited to just one person, one making of video, or one photographer instance. They are asking Minx to remove all images of the full band and yet also telling her they aren't asking her to close her site. They are being honest they aren't taking her domain or asking her to never run a site at all. But they are removing the entire purpose/function of her site that keeping it open is pointless, as she said. It's the same mentality Sebastian of rammsteinfan.de took. The management threat neuters the purpose of the site, there is no point keeping it online.
This phrase from rammstein.com: "If the domain host uses the occasion to close the site, we can only (like any others) wonder." is utterly disrespectful and obtuse. They told her to remove images and it's a site about images. This is why fans were mad or sarcastic - it's the sheer disrespect in how people are communicated with, or lack thereof. They are acting like they asked her to remove 2 jpegs instead of thousands. This statement is acting like they asked her to remove barely anything and are so 'confused'. It's so disingenuous. Everyone knows it back then, hence the outrage.
The claim they had previously contacted her were also rebuttal against on the 29th as false. As she stated, the rammstein.com statement is trying to insinuate Minx is lying or exaggerating. They also falsely disparage her regarding shirts and try to paint her as intentionally a bad faith actor. It's utterly disgusting and unprofessional in every single regard. People were not blind to this tone and thus the outrage.
That is exactly how they treated Sebastian of rammsteinfan.de - as being dramatic or exaggerating claims for nothing. They threatened Seb's site a mere few days before Mein Teil's video and single. They threatened Minx's site a few days before Rosenrot's announcement and tracklist/cover and during the start of Benzin. Is this the fool's version of marketing hype and controversy?
